No complete superhero line has been this robust or interesting years, with a ton of great series (and varied series, at that!) coming from the X-Offices. This week, Marvel has a bunch of great X-Men comics on sale — past and present — and we’ve picked out five of our faves.

Cyclops, Vol. 1: Starstruck

Why It’s Cool: Simply put, this book features an incredible pedigree of creators delivering a nuanced take on one of the most popular and compelling heroes from the X-Men. The X-Men just don’t work the same way without Scott Summers. Also, this book flew very low under the radar, and so I’m guessing many readers missed it. Now is the chance to fill that gap.

Why It’s Cool: This is the comic that reset the X-Men and gave them a new concept that catapulted them back to the forefront of the Marvel Universe, but monthly comic books in general. And look, I know most of you reading this have probably already bought and read these comics, but I will just say that it’s nice to have them in digital format for easy access, especially as now nearly two full years later, the wider line continues to explore plot points that were originally seeded in these pages.

Why It’s Cool: Shortly before the reset and the new status quo, the X-Men comics gave us a series of one-shots looking at the current statuses of their most iconic villains. What resulted was a set of pretty decent stand-alone stories that remind readers of all the disparate agendas that have come together to make Krakoa possible…as well as some of the ways things may very well fracture. You can read all these stories now in this one volume.

X-Men: Worst X-Man Ever

Bailey struggles to find a place alongside his fellow students, but the X-universe is a big one — perhaps Mystique will see his potential. Could Magneto have just the mission for him? Or maybe the magic of time travel will reveal days of future glory. (Don't get your hopes up). Max Bemis, frontman of the band Say Anything, makes his Marvel debut with the story of a misfit among misfits, just trying to fit in. Bailey Hoskins? Worst. X-Man. Ever.
Why It’s Cool: And now, for something completely and utterly and entirely different. This is a really fun X-Men story about as the title suggests — the worst X-Man ever. It’s a character that will probably never pop up on Krakoa, but after you read this miniseries, you’ll be wondering about what might happen if he did…
