EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW: The Blue Flame #4 from Vault Comics
By Zack Quaintance — Today it is our absolute honor to have an exclusive preview of The Blue Flame #4. Due out this Wednesday, August 25, this book marks the fourth chapter in what has so far been the best superhero comic book of the year. Although, as regular readers of the series well know, this is not your typical superhero story, far from it.
The Blue Flame is a melding of superhero and sci-fi tropes of the highest order with a stark story of a mass shooting and the subsequent survivors guilt. There’s a lot not said in this book, not yet anyway, and it’s all the better for it. Part of what makes this series so excellent and intriguing is the masterful use of tone, both within writer Christopher Cantwell’s scripting and artist Adam Gorham’s linework, colored here by Kurt Michael Russell and lettered by Hassan Otsmane-Elhaou. Publisher Vault Comics has given us 10 exclusive pages from the book to unveil here.
You can find this full preview of The Blue Flame #4 below, with an easy-to-read gallery of all the pages at the bottom…enjoy!
