By Zack Quaintance — Air by writer G. Willow Wilson and artist M.K. Perker is getting a new printing from Berger Books. Air, Vol. 1 is slated to hit shops in September. Air was first published in 2008 by Vertigo Comics, running for 24 issues.

This marks the second Vertigo Comics book in recent months to get a new printing via Berger Books, an imprint at Dark Horse Comics that is helmed by defining Vertigo editor, Karen Berger. The other was Enigma by Peter Milligan and Duncan Ferego, which got a definitive edition hardcover in December (for the absurdly reasonable price of $25).

Acrophobic flight attendant Blythe has just fallen for a mysterious traveler-- who may or may not be a terrorist-- and she's about to embark on the strangest journey of her life. Searching for him, Blythe will crash-land into a web of technological conspiracies, dark politics and cryptic orders. When she learns that she is the only person able to control flight and reality, with science so advanced it might be magic, she'll have to break the rules of time and space for answers.

Air Vol. 1 will be the first of four new volumes for this series. It will arrive in comic book shops on September 14 and bookstores on September 27, with a price tag of $19.99. Cover art can be found below…
