House of X #5 – LOOK, there are things to cover in this issue before all the nudity. If this is the last time Larraz gets to draw Polaris, I will curl into a ball and scream.

Krakoa’s hottest club is The Five. This group has everything. Matching black and gold outfits (unless you’re a formless entity like Proteus), found family, Christ complexes, and what I’m sure is some massive drama because Elixir exists. Goldballs is DADDY? Yeah, it just kinda happened. (To pop out of Stefon mode, oh my goddddddddddddddddd EVA AND HOPE ARE GONNA BOND.)

Can Larraz just do a Lorna and Monet team-up book after this? Look at HER.

I admit to being a little worried that we’re gonna get to artists who can’t convey Emma’s fashion choices as well as the HOXPOX teams have, but let’s enjoy it while it lasts. Crying.

Selene is just holding a #$%@ing SKULL. I want an entire miniseries about this and her Morrigan-meets-leather-bondage-lesbian look. Yeah, Apocalypse is thick but Selene is just JUST HOLDING THAT SKULL.
