The concept for this book is basically D&D meets The Man from U.N.C.L.E., or if you prepare alliteration — elves meets espionage. You can read our chat about the book below, before heading over to the campaign page to back the book.

It’s an adaptation of a novel by Will Robertson, who has scripted it for comics himself, and it’s being brought to life now by artist Yulia Lapko. It’s a sophisticated story that involves drug-use in London, a main character struggling to cope with a difficult time in life, and an assault between two of the people closest to him. It’s a great project, and today we have an interview with Will and Yulia, which you can read below before heading over to back this one via The Glass Wall campaign page.

That was certainly the case with me and the new Kickstarter comic, El Cabron Pistolero. The name is simple but effective, roughly translating in English to the bastard (in a cool way!) gunslinger, and the artwork aesthetic has this cool 80s grafiti cartooning vibe that I absolutely love. I immediately backed this project and reached out the same day to ask the creator if we could connect for an interview.

Read MoreBy Zack Quaintance — Writer/artist Tony McMillen recently funded a Kickstarter for his new book Serious Creatures on Day 2 of his campaign. It’s easy to see why this concept found such a fast audience — McMillen’s project blends his own striking cartooning style with a story that involves Hollywood in the ‘70s, growing up with creative aspirations, and the classic movie Jaws. Recently, I had the chance to send Tony a few questions about the book, all of which you can find below before heading over to the Serious Creatures campaign page to back this project.
Read MoreBy Zack Quaintance — In today’s Kickstarter Interview, I had a chance to send some questions to writer Fraser Campbell and artist Lucy Sullivan, whose book Barking made my list of the Best Graphic Novels of 2020 (So Far). This is a very cool book, one that has hugely-talented creators on its creative team. You can read our conversation below, and then when you’re done you can head over to the IND-XED campaign page to back the project now.
