By Zack Quaintance — I am so pleased to bring you today’s small press preview, which features Two Swords Til Mercy from writer Brentt Harshman, artist J. Paul Schiek, colorist A.H.G., and letterer LetterSquids. The writer and artist on this book are a couple of my favorite up and coming creators to follow on Twitter, both effusive with praise for other creators and open with insights into their own careers and processes.

They are easy creators to root for, but all that aside, this is also a really exciting project. Two Swords Til Mercy is a spaghetti western set in a medieval realm. Within that setting, our hero is on a quest to avenge his murdered brother…which effects the entire realm. It’s all very intriguing, and we’re beyond honored today to have a new preview (as well as the KickStarter link where you can support this book) to share with you all today.

When the King of the Northlands is assassinated and a note reading “no more monarchs” is left on his corpse, his best friend, an elderly monk named Aldus Berryann, must travel across the realm to deliver the news to the Queen of the Southlands. However, unbeknownst to him, his guide and bodyguard, Lamond Yohe, is also on a journey to avenge his brother by hunting down and killing all the former cultists who took his life.
