EXCLUSIVE PREVIEW: The Short While by Jeremy Sorese
By Zack Quaintance — Today we are honored ot have an exclusive preview of The Short While, the forthcoming graphic novel from cartoonist Jeremy Sorese, out this November via BOOM! Studios’ Archaia imprint. In this book, Sorese — who is a Lambda Literary Award nominee — tells a poignant tale, described by the publisher as “the tragic but redemptive love story of two men who meet, quickly fall in love, and then find themselves falling apart when an unexpected event changes both their lives forever.”
The book is primarily in black-and-white (which, more black-and-white comics please!) with occasional prose passages woven in between. You can see some of this approach in the preview pages below. You can also found full solicitation preview info, as well as a gallery at the end for easier perusal. Again, the book is due out November 10 in local comic shops and November 16 everywhere else.
