Check out Otava Heikkilä’s LETTERS FOR LUCARDO: THE SILENT LORD from Iron Circus Comics
By Zack Quaintance — Iron Circus Comics second-ever independent crowdfunding campaign is live now, and it’s a good one: it’s called Letters for Lucardo: The Silent Lord, and it’s by cartoonist Otava Heikkilä. It’s also an LGBTQ+ horror graphic novel that reached its $10,000 funding goal in its first week.
Today we are honored to have an exclusive quote about the book direct from Heikkilä…
Letters for Lucardo: The Silent Lord explores the aftermath of the immortal Lucardo attempting to save the life of Edmund, his mortal lover, by bringing him over to the cruel god-patriarch that watches over Lucardo’s family. After a rebirth of some kind, the couple are left with having to navigate the permanence of the hasty decision, while the tightly shut doors of the Night Court slowly open to let Edmund see the full extent of the chains that bind them.
