In addition to being one of the best-looking books on the market today, this comic has featured a touching story about two young women forging a friendship…that just might become a bit more. Also, there is the fate of a small town who has lost its magical protector involved.

Mamo is the always-elusive type of story that can appeal to young readers with its bright simplicity while also feeling rewarding for adult readers with its high command of craft.
