This five-part series is the work of the incredibly-talented cartoonist Sas Milledge, who is doing breakout work in this book. A subtle and understated story of friendship with hints of love, Mamo on the surface is about family and magic. Deeper than that, it’s the story of the relationship between its two leads.

And now we are honored on the site today to have a brand new exclusive preview of the book’s finale, Mamo #5, ahead of its release, wherein some of the plot points promised from the start come into play. This final issue — which is as interesting and gorgeous as those that came before it — is also oversized.
