SMALL PRESS PREVIEW: Wayfinder by Sachi Ediriweera and team

By Zack Quaintance — So, for anyone who has been living under a rock (first of all, why would you live there), I should not that Emerald City Comic Con, which was to take place this weekend, was postponed due to fears related to the outbreak of the Coronavirus. Nasty stuff, and limiting gigantic gatherings of people so near to what was essentially ground zero for this in the United States was the right move.

Unfortunately, postponement of the event had some pretty dire consequences for the varitable army of artists and creators who had wears and were en route to the con. One such creator — Sachi Ediriweera — had planned to essentially premiere a new graphic novel at the show, even setting up a place on his website where readers could pay for the book and have it at ECCC to pick up.

Anyway, the show didn’t work out, but today we are still very much honored to have a preview of Sachi’s Wayfinder book to share with you today, on which he is joined by colorist Warnia K. Sahadewa and letterer Micah Meyers.

Below you will find a brief synopsis of the book, followed by some truly striking preview artwork. And, if you’d like a copy for yourself, they are currently available for $15.00 via this website. Enjoy!

A sci-fi adventure story about a rogue space flight engineer who returns to Earth to reunite with her daughter. (80 pages, ships after March 20th)
